Finnabair, Mixed Media legend, will be teaching four (4) different courses at our Viikki store on the first weekend of May, 2-3 of May! The course is available for purchase only to registered customers!

Time Traveller – Steampunk Inspired Mini Suitcase -course Sunday, May 3rd at 4 p.m.

If you’re looking for a practical yet beautifully opulent and textured box to hold your treasures—or to give someone something truly special—this is the class for you.
In “Time Traveller”, we’ll embark on a creative adventure filled with rich layers, unique textures, and the beauty of found objects. It’s not just about making a stunning steampunk suitcase—it’s about diving deep into the magic of mixed-media techniques and exploring a wide range of Finnabair art mediums and effects.
You’ll work step-by-step through the whole process, from building textures to adding metallic shine and effects and wax highlights. We’ll play with Finnabair pastes, paints, and sparkly effects, learning how to create strong details, shadows, and dimension. And of course, you’ll have the freedom to choose your own colour palette and make it truly your own.
This class is perfect for all skill levels—whether you’re just starting out or already deep in your creative journey. You’re warmly invited to join, explore, and let your imagination take flight.

Price: €140 per person, including a €50 deposit. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable**
Materials: The price includes a full set of materials used in the course. We will notify you closer to the course date about any basic supplies, such as scissors.
Extras: All course participants will receive a 20% discount on the brick-and-mortar store's selection during the course day. Unlimited coffee and tea, as well as snacks, will be available during the course.
The course is suitable for both beginners and experienced crafters.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

**The deposit is non-refundable. The deposit can only be refunded if your place can be filled.

Canceling your place on the course:
Course places can be canceled by March 31th at the latest. The deposit (€50) will be deducted from the refund if the place cannot be filled.

If the course has to be canceled by the organizer, a full refund or an alternative date for the course will be offered.
