Finnabair | Mixed Media Course: Garden Treasures – Saturday May 2 at 4pm

Finnabair, Mixed Media legend, will be teaching four (4) different courses at our Viikki store on the first weekend of May, 2-3 of May! The course is available for purchase only to registered customers!

Garden Treasures – dimensional, opulent, shiny yet vintage collage on the wooden panel -course Saturday, May 2nd at 4 p.m.

Let’s dive into the dreamy, dimensional layers of tissue papers, metallic flakes, various embellishments and coats of paints, waxes and art mediums!
Let your creativity flow and create a unique, artistic project based on beautiful, rich textures and inspiring colours - all that to get one of a kind wooden panel - perfect for decorating your space or for giving as a gift to your loved ones!
Step by step, we will work on all the layers and textures to build our collage: starting with untreated wood, we will go to tissue papers and metallic flake effect and finally to opulent, dimensional composition. Then, using an exciting range of embellishments in combination with popular Finnabair art mediums, we will work on the balance of the shiny and matte elements and create a striking, dimensional look.
This class is perfect for trying products from Art Basics and Art Alchemy lines, including gesso, gels, Liquid Acrylics and Matte and Metallique Waxes. All that means you are getting a lot of creative freedom combined with helpful tips and inspirational techniques which you can apply to many future projects!

Price: €140 per person, including a €50 deposit. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable**
Materials: The price includes a full set of materials used in the course. We will notify you closer to the course date about any basic supplies, such as scissors.

The course is suitable for both beginners and experienced crafters.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

**The deposit is non-refundable. The deposit can only be refunded if your place can be filled.

Canceling your place on the course:
Course places can be canceled by March 31th at the latest. The deposit (€50) will be deducted from the refund if the place cannot be filled.

If the course has to be canceled by the organizer, a full refund or an alternative date for the course will be offered.
