Printed with a landscape painting by writer, musician and artist Kyohei Sakaguchi. This image depicting the cool, early morning sky takes up the entirety of this cover. While realistic in style, it was made using pastels and the fingers. In order to bring out the warmth that comes with this, the cover is made out of a canvas like cloth material. The cover has been constructed as a light hardcover book with some give to it so it still bends.

The book uses thin and light yet durable Tomoe River paper. It's characterized by its ability to hold ink well and provide a smooth writing experience.
