This Weeks features artwork from Tomie, the debut work and one of the most iconic creations of horror manga artist Junji Ito. Using original illustrations that bring Junji Ito’s one-of-a-kind world to life, the artwork bridges nearly 40 years since his debut in 1987.

The Tomie - Haunting Beauty Weeks features an illustration of an illusory version of Tomie, born from a young girl’s intense admiration. Printed on a matte black cover, the image of Tomie is rendered using glossy silk screen printing to give it a subtle shine. The contrast between the two textures of black brings the artwork to life, capturing Tomie’s haunting beauty and allure. The cover has been constructed as a light hardcover book with some give to it so it still bends.

The book uses thin and light yet durable Tomoe River paper. It's characterized by its ability to hold ink well and provide a smooth writing experience.
