Anatomy of Creative Collage Making – Workshop on Saturday, May 31, 2025

Join us for an inspiring hands-on workshop that delves into the art of story-driven composition and creating visually compelling collages. You'll learn how to choose colors, materials, and focal points in a way that results in a balanced, layered, and captivating final piece.

We’ll explore various compositional structures and visual examples to help train your eye to recognize dynamic layouts. The skills you learn can be applied not only to collage-making but also to other creative hobbies like card making and paper crafting.

And yes – the workshop includes a generous Goodie Bag!

What You'll Learn:

During the workshop, you’ll build different types of compositions and experiment with layering diverse materials to create a narrative collage artwork. By the end of the course, you’ll have at least one finished piece – and thanks to the relaxed pace, you’ll likely complete more.

Approx. 5+ hours

Who is this workshop for?

This workshop is suitable for all skill levels – everyone interested in collage-making is warmly welcome! No prior experience is necessary, and bringing your own supplies is completely optional.

Materials:

You’ll have access to all the tools and materials provided at the venue. Some content and supplies will be provided by the instructor, but you're not required to bring anything unless you prefer using your own.

To avoid waiting for shared tools, you may wish to bring some basic supplies. After registering, you’ll receive an email with a recommended supply list, in case you’d like to bring your favorite tools or materials. However, everything essential will be available on-site for you to use freely.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations must be submitted in writing by email to hello@micandmim.com at least 5 business days before the workshop.
If you cancel later than this, the course fee will not be refunded.
Final date to cancel this workshop: Monday, May 26, 2025 at 11:59 PM.

Organizer’s Right to Cancel:

The organizer reserves the right to cancel the workshop in the following cases:

Minimum participants not reached:
The course will take place if at least 8 participants register. If this number is not reached, the workshop may be canceled.

Illness or force majeure:
If the instructor becomes ill or an uncontrollable event prevents the workshop from taking place, it will be canceled.

In either case, all registered participants will be notified by email, and any paid fees will be fully refunded. Participants will be informed of any cancellation as soon as the situation becomes clear.
