Hobonichi | Graph Notebook (A5) - Yamazakura

This A5 size graph-paper notebook is made with Tomoe River paper, opens completely flat, and the printing comes in four different colors across the book. The cover is adorned with a botanical illustration of the Yamazakura cherry tree, drawn by Dr. Tomitaro Makino. Drawn around 120 years ago during the Meiji era, this is one of Dr. Makino’s most iconic works.

Contains 288 pages with the same 3.7mm grid as the Hobonichi Techo Cousin. The color of the grid changes every 72 pages (red → blue → green → purple), making it easy to divide the notebook into sections by theme and to find what you’ve written later. It’s the same size as the Hobonichi Cousin Techo, so you can use it with a techo cover as well.

About the Paper

The Tomoe River paper designed for planners is known for its thinness and smooth writing surface. However, depending on the type and amount of ink or pen used—as well as environmental conditions—some ink may bleed through or take longer to dry. We recommend testing your pens on an inconspicuous area first, or using a pencil board or blotting paper for best results.
