MIC & MIM is a small Helsinki-based paper shop with a perfectly healthy (and totally under control) obsession with stationery.

Behind the scenes is My Indie & Co, founded in 2018 after one tiny “I’ll just try this planner” moment turned into a full-blown love story with Kokuyo’s Jibun Techo. Things escalated quickly - and before we knew it, we were officially introducing Jibun Techo to the European market. Casual.

What started as a small passion project slowly (okay, enthusiastically) grew into something bigger. In 2022, MIC & MIM opened as a physical shop - because keeping all that stationery joy to ourselves felt a bit selfish. By 2024, we had collected… let’s call it a few more things… and moved into a bigger space to fit it all (and you).

Today, MIC & MIM is both a webshop and a real-life cozy corner filled with stickers, planners, and paper treasures we genuinely love - and yes, we absolutely use them ourselves. A lot. Possibly too much. No regrets.

But here’s the important part:

MIC & MIM isn’t just a shop. It’s a space.

A come-as-you-are, stay-as-long-as-you-like kind of place.
No pressure to buy anything. No expectations to be “creative enough.” No such thing as doing it wrong.

You can browse, hang out, test pens, rearrange your planner for the 17th time, or just sit down and exist for a bit. We fully support all of the above.

We believe creativity should feel fun, not intimidating.
Messy pages? Great. Over-decorated spreads? Also great. Blank notebook you’re scared to start? Extremely relatable.
